Making a Purchase
All orders placed through our website will be subject to our acceptance of the order, and all goods are sold subject to availability.
All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT. Please note that outside the EU you may be subject to your own local tax/import duties. We do not assume any responsibilty for these charges. If you are in any doubt we recommend you check with your local Customs & Excise Office before making a purchase.
You may order online using a credit or debit card (we accept Visa, MasterCard and Maestro).
We do not take the payment for your order when you place the order, only when your order is ready for despatch.
If the dispatch of your order cannot be fulfilled or is delayed, you will be notified.
The majority of the DVD's sold through the Military History Collection are exempt (E) from Classification. However, occasionally some DVD's will be classified as a 15 or 18 certificate.
By placing an order for products with age restrictions you declare that you are of legal age to purchase those products.
Making a purchase is (we trust) straight forward. Simply browse through our range of products using the navigation system on the left hand side. You can click anywhere within the navigation to bring up a specific range of titles, and further menus will then direct you to individual products. As soon as you have identified a product you wish to purchase, just click on the ‘Add to Basket’ button to add it to your shopping basket. You can then either proceed through the checkout procedure, or add further titles to your shopping basket.
The checkout procedure will ask for the address which relates to your credit card (and the delivery address if different), and on the final page will ask for your credit card details. All credit card numbers are encrypted with SSL (Secure Socket Layer), the industry standard encryption software. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Returns and Cancellations:
In accordance with the "Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000".We operate a no quibble returns policy as folows:
Order Cancellation:
After placing an order through our web site, you then have a 7-day cooling off period. If during this 7-day period you wish to cancel your order then please email us at our Distribution Centre. Please remember to quote your Order Reference Number, and state the reason for your return. We will then issue you with the necessary returns procedures. If the order has not been despatched, we will simply cancel the order. If the order has been despatched, we will then request that you return the goods to us unopened and with any seals and shrink wrap intact. We will then process a full refund (within 30 days) for the initial cost of the order plus the cost incurred for returning the goods to us. Returns (mint condition):
If you are unhappy with a purchase you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received it, unopened and with any seals and shrink wrap intact. We will issue a full refund (within 30 days) for the total price you paid at the time of purchase, but not the costs incurred for returning the goods to us. Prior to returning the goods, please email us at our Distribution Centre. Please remember to quote your Order Reference Number, and state the reason for your return. We will then issue you with the necessary returns procedures. Alternativley you can phone us on 0870 420 8133 (call charged at the National Rate).
Returns (faulty goods):
If, within a reasonable period of time, you find a fault with the goods received then we will offer either a replacement or full refund (within 30 days). In either case we will request for the faulty goods to be returned to us for which we will refund the costs incurred. Prior to returning the goods, please email us at our Distribution Centre. Please remember to quote your Order Reference Number, and state the reason for your return. We will then issue you with the necessary returns procedures. Returns (goods sent in error):
If, within 30 days of receipt of your order, you realise that we have sent you the wrong goods, we will then offer either a replacement or full refund (within 30 days). In either case we will request for the goods to be returned to us for which we will refund the costs incurred. Prior to returning the goods, please email us at our Distribution Centre. Please remember to quote your Order Reference Number, and state the reason for your return. We will then issue you with the necessary returns procedures. Security:
We take security seriously and take every reasonable precaution to protect your personal information both online and offline. Information requested when ordering goods (including your credit/debit card details) is encrypted with SSL (Secure Socket Layer), the industry standard encryption software. We will take reasonable care (to the extent that it is within our power to do so) to keep the details of your order and payment secure but we cannot promise that security breaches will never occur. Our entire liability to you (including for negligence) regarding any security breach will be to endeavour to prevent it continuance or repetition once the problem is drawn to our attention.
General:
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and any such changes will be communicated on our website. These terms and conditions govern the entire trading relationship between ourselves and you and will remain in force for the duration of our trading relationship. All intellectual property rights (including use of trade marks) shall be solely owned by us. You are permitted only to use material on this website as expressly authorised by us or our licensors. Any unauthorised use of material on this site is strictly prohibited. We will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any product or pricing information which we place on the site but we make no warranties (whether express or implied) in relation to the accuracy of such information.
